Summer Series: Energizing Vegan Green Smoothie Bowl

Hey there!  In line with my summer series of light, refreshing vegan foods here's a green smoothie bowl to kickstart your day.  Packed with nutrient-dense ingredients, this smoothie bowl is not only delicious but also incredibly healthy.  This green smoothie bowl is a powerhouse of nutrients that will leave you feeling energized and satisfied. **Ingredients:**    (**Total Prep Time:** 10 minutes)
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
- 1 teaspoon spirulina powder (optional, for an extra nutrient boost)

**For Toppings:**
- Fresh fruit (e.g., sliced kiwi, berries, banana slices)
- Granola
- Coconut flakes
- Additional chia seeds
- Additional hemp seeds

**Instructions:**

**1. Blend the Smoothie:**
1. In a high-speed blender, combine the almond milk, frozen banana, spinach leaves, avocado, chia seeds, hemp seeds, almond butter, frozen pineapple, frozen mango, and spirulina powder (if using).
2. Blend until smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.

**2. Adjust Consistency:**
1. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk until you reach your desired consistency.

**3. Serve:**
1. Pour the smoothie into a bowl.

**4. Add Toppings:**
1. Top your smoothie bowl with fresh fruit, granola, coconut flakes, and additional chia and hemp seeds for added texture and nutrients.
